PERKINS® SCRAMBLERS SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

A. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Must be at least 18 years old, and a legal, U.S. resident, or a resident of the Canadian Provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, or Saskatchewan to play. Void where prohibited. Obtain game pieces at participating Perkins stores by ordering a Scramblers food item, or requesting a game piece. One game piece per person, per visit (per day), while supplies last. If, for any reason you are unable to obtain a game piece you may request one by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope (S.A.S.E.) to Perkins Scramblers Sweepstakes, c/o Yancey Marketing Corporation, 31 S. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN 46032. Contest begins on January 15, 2007 and continues through and including February 23, 2007.

B. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO WIN:

1. INSTANTLY: Win instantly by scratching off the bottom rub-off on the game piece and revealing a winning message. Instant wins are awarded at that visit, but good for next visit. See "Instant Win Redemption Instructions" section of rules for restrictions and details on how to claim your "Instant Win" prize or discount.

2. COLLECT & REGISTER TO WIN $25,000 GRAND PRIZE: Collect the five letter combinations to spell out SC-RA-MB-LE-RS, available on official game pieces, official Perkins newspaper insert, or printed from www.perkinsrestaurants.com website. Letter combinations are revealed underneath the first rub-off position on game pieces and are already revealed in newspaper insert and web site print out. There are five total game pieces to collect to spell SCRAMBLERS: 1-SC 2-RA 3-MB 4-LE 5-RS. Once an entrant has collected all five letter combinations they are eligible to enter the Grand Prize drawing. To be eligible for the Grand Prize, entrants must send all 5 winning combination game pieces, newspaper clipping, or print out from the web site together in one (1) envelope, along with your name, address, date of birth and daytime phone numbers to: Perkins Scrambler Sweepstakes Finalist, P.O. Box 512, Carmel, IN 46082-0512. All entries must be received by 11AM March 15, 2007 to be eligible. The Grand Prize drawing will be held Monday, March 19, 2007. Representatives from Perkins contest management company, Yancey Marketing, will conduct a random drawing from all entries received to select one Grand Prize winner to receive a check for $25,000 USD. Winner will be contacted by phone and verified on March 19, 2007. If winner cannot be reached within 48 hours, the prize is forfeited and a new winner will be randomly selected. Prize is $25,000 USD, paid in the form of a check from Perkins contest management company, Yancey Marketing. The submission of entries is the sole responsibility of the entrant. All taxes to be paid are the sole responsibility of winner. Not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, illegible, mutilated, incomplete, invalid or postage-due entries which will be disqualified or for human error, force majeure, or acts of God, which may occur in the processing of the entries. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in forfeiture of prize. No exceptions. Grand Prize will be delivered, in person, at the Perkins restaurant closest to the winner’s home (if possible) no later than April 12, 2007. All game pieces are subject to verification, and are void and will be rejected if not obtained through authorized, legitimate channels, or if any part is reproduced, duplicated, counterfeited, illegible, torn or altered in any way, or contain printing, typographical or mechanical errors.

C. Entry into this contest constitutes permission for the sponsor and their designated parties to use the winner's name and likeness for promotion, advertising and publicity purposes at no additional compensation. Where permitted by law, winners agree to grant Perkins the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the worldwide web at any time, each winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice likeness and biographical information as news or information and for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without review, notification or approval. No substituting of prizes is permitted. No transfer of prizes by winners is permitted except with permission of sponsor. Employees and immediate family memmbers of "sponsors" defined as Perkins & Marie Callender’s Inc., The Restaurant Company of Minnesota, any franchisee of a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, Yancey Marketing Corporation, all other participating sponsors, and their respective parent companies, advertising agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and/or their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Upon acceptance of the prizes, winners agree that all sponsors have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, which may result from acceptance, or use of the prizes awarded. By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the contest judges, which are final

D. Odds of winning: Odds of winning a Perkins gift card are 1 in 769. Odds of winning $25,000 Grand Prize based upon number of eligible entries received.

E. The Grand Prize winner’s name or major winner’s list is available until March 30, 2007 at www.perkinsrestaurants.com or by sending a S.A.S.E. to Perkins Scrambler Sweepstakes Winner's List, c/o Yancey Marketing Corporation, 31 S. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN 46032.

F. INSTANT WIN REDEMPTION INSTRUCTIONS: All instant win prizes or discounts are valid on your NEXT VISIT (not the visit in which you received the game piece) to a participating Perkins restaurant and must be redeemed by March 30, 2007 or they are forfeited. Prizes are not valid with any other offer or discount, and some restrictions may apply. All offers are subject to sponsor acceptance. One redemption per person, per day. You must present and forfeit scratch off portion of game piece to receive prize or discount at time of order. Prior sales excluded. No cash value.
